Online50 Direct Support Tool
The Online50 Direct Support Tool allows us to see and interact with your computer. Using the tool we will have access to your computer
— if you do not want us to have access to your computer then you should not use this tool.
We will have asked you to use this tool so that we can see what is happening on your computer and to help you make use of our services. You should be aware
that we do not provide support for your own IT equipment and that our sole aim in asking you to use this tool is to enable us to help you to use the services we
provide. We take no responsibility for any issues with your own IT equipment.
Using Direct Support for Windows
Download the Direct Support tool using the top link to the right. You will have to run the support tool once you have downloaded it. It may be in your
downloads folder — our helpdesk will be able to help you. Once you have run the tool it will display an ID and a password. You will need to
give this information to the Online50 Service Desk so that they can connect to your PC.
When the support session has finished you can delete the download from your computer. It does not install to your computer so there is nothing to uninstall.
Using Direct Support for Mac
Download the Direct Support tool using the second link to the right. The support tool downloads as a zip file. You will have to open the zip file to
run the support tool — our helpdesk will be able to help you. Once you have run the tool it will display an ID and a password. You will need to
give this information to the Online50 Service Desk so that they can connect to your Mac.
When the support session is finished you can delete the zip file from your Mac.
